We make our soap by hand using only the finest quality oils, herbs, and (obviously) goat milk. Our products contain no Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) or Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLES)--common ingredients in conventional hygiene products. SLS and SLES are added to make products foam and to break down grease; unfortunately it is also been shown to cause irritation and denaturing of protein in concentrations as low as .5% (this is about 1/60th of the concentration of most shampoos and hand soaps!)

Why use goat milk soap? Goat's milk is a skin moisturizer and adds protein, minerals, vitamins, and alpha hydroxy acids as well as vitamins A and D. Your skin will be able to easily absorb the oils in goat's milk soap to balance your skin (oily or dry, it will help acheive a healthy medium). It is mild and is an anti-inflammatory so it is especially suited to people with sensitive skin including babies (we bathe our baby with lavender goat milk soap every evening). It can help soothe psoriasis and eczema (also helpful is our herbal salve).
Once you treat yourself to a bar of goat's milk soap you won't be able to buy the conventional stuff again!
We're working right now on different scents and will be updating.
London's Lemon Balm
It was very important to London, our daughter, that we make a lemon balm soap. While learning about herbs she'd developed a fascination with lemon balm, which is a wonderful herb known for its calming properties. It eases anxiety and helps curb fatigue as well as depression. It promotes mental clarity and concentration.
Chocolate Mint
Mint is a well-loved herb for soaps and other products because of its wonderful smell. Mint is known for slowing down the growth of bacteria and fungus. Chocolate mint is my personal favorite.
Lavender
Lavender has been used for centuries to treat everything from athlete's foot to migraines, sore muscle relief to healing burns. It has a wonderful floral scent and we add plenty of fresh lavender from the garden to our soap as well as high-quality essential oil. A warm bath with lavender soap is a wonderful addition to a nighttime ritual to get little ones ready for bed as lavender has such a soothing smell.
Patchouli
Ah, fragrant patchouli, reminiscent of Woodstock and Grateful Dead shows. We love the woodsy scent of patchouli, which is believed to have a relaxing effect. Some say that patchouli improves concentration and can sharpen focus. Patchouli soap can help regulate oily skin and dry scalp disorders. It helps control perspiration (although you might not believe it if you've been to those Dead shows).
Again, we'll be adding more scents as we are able and are happy to get requests. Our soaps are available through our web store.
